Full time single Mummy to a devastatingly handsome, kind, clever, confident and incredibly funny three year old boy (biased?). Owner of a big shaggy hyperactive hound. Extended breastfeeding/real nappies/co-sleeping/babywearing/baby led weaning enthusiast – just trying to get the hang of motherhood and having fun whilst doing so. Love good food, great books, long walks and plenty of indoor and outdoor play and discovery. Smiles a lot and laughs daily.

Apart from my son and dog I love all animals and care for the welfare of our planet and all of its inhabitants. My son and I are pescatarian and grow our own veg (we are learning as we grow here as well). Despite my practical side I still love ‘girly’ stuff like clothes, shoes, accessories and make-up (my personal battle against ageing and sensitive skin).  I am an enthusiastic and successful MuTu Mummy for life and like to stay healthy and reasonably fit.

My son loves tractors and trains, making and building stuff and reading story books, though we still watch the telly too. He has learnt to count due to his love of Thomas the tank engine and can colour and paint and use a screwdriver (takes after his mummy!).  At age two and quarter, he could switch the laptop on, open firefox, navigate between web pages, scroll up and down, reload pages, find his favourite games and videos online and click, drag, colour and play games without me helping him. Quite incredible!
