Well, we love food and we love a spot of creativity so we sat down one rainy morning to make our entry into the Appliances online ‘Yummy food competition’ hosted on the “A boy with Aspergers” blog and on the Madhouse Family Reviews blog.

My son is two, so I helped him draw his favourite fish fingers, potatoes and little cherry tomatoes, and a little pot of yoghurt and asked him to colour them in with his paint and stickers.  I explained we were drawing dinner and he quite intuitively stuck stickers of sweets, bananas, strawberries and a cake on. I’m not sure if this was intentional but he surprises me with his cleverness quite often.  I’m not sure where the rainbow fits in but maybe he was telling me that this meal wasn’t very colourful and i should have stuck some greens on or something.  There’s also quite a lot of smudgy bits which I’m sure reflect the state of our table after the meal has finished. Clever eh?

Anyway, here’s our entry:
